Affiliate disclosure
Price Pylon is free to use. To pay for running the site, some of the links we publish are affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something, the retailer or an affiliate network (such as Awin) may pay us a commission.
How we label affiliate links
- Every deal card and every deal page carries a visible "Ad / affiliate link" label, before you click.
- "Get deal" buttons that may earn us commission are marked as sponsored in the page code.
- A disclosure line appears in the footer of every page.
We label these links clearly because the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) treats affiliate content as advertising that must be obviously identifiable, and the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) expects consumers to be told when content is paid for or earns commission.
What it means for you
- You never pay more. The price is the same whether or not you use our link.
- Commission does not decide what we post. We post deals because the price is good, and we post deals that earn us nothing too.
- Prices can change. We check each price on the retailer's page and show the date we checked it, but retailers can change prices at any time. Always confirm the final price before you pay.
- "Was" prices are the retailer's. The usual or "was" price we show is the one stated by the retailer when we checked. Where we can, we also check price history.
Retailer links that are not affiliate links yet are still labelled the same way, so the label is always there when it might apply.
